We are seeing a lot of white brick right now. With good reason, white brick is beautiful and makes for a wonderful accent. White brick looks fresh and adds some unique texture and has a charming appeal.  From the exterior to the interior of a house brick can be found.   We want to show some examples to inspire you to paint your brick. Just like changing a paint color can transform a space painting brick will do the same thing.

Why it can work for you

White brick has a charming and unique quality not to mention the amazing texture that it adds. There is something that is so refreshing about the look of painted brick. It has a beautiful background for any style that you are going for. It can be the perfect neutral. Or if you want to create some contrast in your design the color in a pillow, artwork or even a plant and it will just pop so beautifully with the white brick. One of the most endearing qualities that white brick has is that anyone can do this. White brick can go with any style. it can be modern, traditional, mid-century, farmhouse, coastal or industrial.  Best part about the look is that it's  truly  a classic and timeless look. One to stay around for a long time.

Things to consider

- On going maintenance is necessary. The better it is prepped, primed and painted the better the paint will hold up. More so for the exterior. You want to make sure to keep them in good condition which helps protect them for the elements outdoors.

- The brick will need to be cleaned before you start to paint. This can be done with soap and water making sure to remove all the dirt and dust.

- Once painted it is pretty much permanent. Returning brick back to its original state is a very complex restoration process. So make sure this is a look you are good to live with for a long time
